Future proofing finance and procurement in higher education

Early bird rates have been extended to 30 June for our annual Finance and Procurement conference which will be held at Bond University on 8 and 9 August 2017. 

Under the theme of Future Proofing Finance and Procurement in Higher Education: Staying ahead of the game, the conference will feature a mix of thought-leading keynote presentations, case studies from your peers and interactive sessions which explore real life scenarios.  

Highlights will include insights from Professor Tim Brailsford, Vice-Chancellor of Bond University; Kate Christensen, author and winner of the 2017 Axiom Business Book awards medal; digital finance expert Justine Waddick from Deloitte consulting; William Confalonieri, Chief Information Officer, Deakin University; Taryn Rulton, COO and CFO of Monash College; Jean-Louis Haie, Managing Director Planet Procurement and Chair of the Australian Committee on the project of ISO20400 and Lea Patterson,  CEO of Pilbara Group. 

You’ll hear case studies from Newcastle University and Gold Coast City Council, Charles Sturt University, the University of Southern Queensland, Deakin University, Charles Darwin University and the University of Queensland. UniLink will run its OneStopShop workshop and forum and contribute to a session on fraud protection.

A dedicated Travel Management Roundtable will be held on the afternoon of the first day of the conference with ample time set aside to discuss the challenges facing universities in travel management and to explore the preparedness of the sector to embrace the rapidly evolving travel industry and the advent of new technologies and business models.
