Inspirational leadership top of the agenda at NUFPC

Saving Dollars and Making Sense: Effective University Finance and Procurement for the Future is the theme of this year’s National University Finance and Procurement Conference (NUFPC) which will be held in Brisbane on 1 and 2 August.

Hosted by Higher Ed Services (HES), the NUFPC now in its 16th year, is the “must attend” conference for university finance, procurement and administrative professionals.
The opening program will feature addresses by the incoming CEO of HES, Dr Andrew Trnacek, Professor Peter Lee, Vice-Chancellor of Southern Cross University and Australian rugby union legend, John Eales.

Mr Eales, regarded as the most successful Australian captain in the history of Australian rugby union, will share insights into leadership in business.
In addition to inspirational keynote presentations, a range of topics will be covered from managing in disruptive times to fraud and corruption and building highly effective teams.

Educational finance streams on the new standards in lease accounting, investment markets and the long-term benefit of moving to the cloud will also be canvassed in addition to highly interactive procurement streamed sessions.
Practical workshops, user group updates and ample time for networking with business and industry will ensure that the two-day event will have something for everyone.
