About the Higher Education Quality Network

The Higher Education Quality Network (HEQN) is a collaborative community for academic and professional staff working in universities and higher education institutions engaged in quality assurance, compliance and regulatory management.

The Patron of the HEQN is Emeritus Professor Kwong Lee Dow AO, one of Australia’s most esteemed academics, with a long-standing commitment to enhancing quality in higher education.

The direction and focus of the HEQN and its activities are driven by the sector for the sector. We have a proactive national approach to addressing issues on quality and regulatory management through sharing knowledge and leading practices.

All higher education institutions are welcome to participate in the HEQN and to access and contribute to the resources contained on the HEQN website.

The major activities of the HEQN involve workshops, summits, symposia and a Quality and Compliance Forum held in conjunction with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Annual Conference.
