The study will:
Validate the current deployment (in physical cores) for the relevant EFTSL based products. Note: this is not a full-scale license audit so HES will not be running any measurement tools in your environment.
Detail the certify out process as per the contract and what the new entitlements will be for each university should they choose to certify out.
Outline the pros and cons of certifying out on NUPS or Procs.
If student growth forecasts are provided to us, we will provide each university with the incremental increase in EFTSL top-up costs over 2 to 3 years.
If CPU growth forecasts are provided to us, we will provide each university with the incremental increase in Procs/NUPS costs over the same period.
Commentary on risks v cost savings if universities choose to move Oracle support to a third party support post certifying out.
